I agree Donna. There are a lot of close door meetings and in this new age of "transparency" the Board meeting certainly should be televised. Everyone needs to contact your Board Member and ask them if they would support the meetings being televised.

RICHMOND PATRIOTS-We Are Patriot Activists

The Richmond Patriots is an activist group. We host and attend protests, rally's, and conservative political events and hold training classes. We sponsor petitions to change local, state and national legislation.

In 2010, we will be active working at the Virginia General Assembly to effect legislation. Then it will be on TAKE BACK THE HOUSE in Washington

The Richmond Patriots are united upon shared principles and values to build a community of proud patriotic Americans.

We specifically choose the name Richmond Patriots, because, by definition, a patriot
is one who loves and zealously supports his country.

A Patriot is any American who takes the responsibilities of American citizenship as seriously as they do the perks of being an American citizen.

A Patriot is a person who upholds the Constitution of the United States regardless of religious, personal or political bias.

Patriotism is acting out of principle, not out of fear. The greatest display of patriotism, and the best way to honor the patriots who have given us this gift, is to protest and preserve it for future generations to enjoy it as well.

Founding Father's Stands on the Federal Government

Thomas Jefferson wrote "Congress [has] not unlimited powers to provide for the general welfare, but [is] restrained to those specifically enumerated."
James Madison stated "This is not an indefinate government...but a limited government, tied down to the specific powers which explain and define the general terms"

Why is it that our founding fathers knew what would happen if the federal government took too much control of daily life, thus they decided to limit their reach. Control was to stay wi… Continue

Time to Re-Group and Plan

We took Virginia, next is the Sovereignty Bill in January. Bill Howell, Speaker of the House, stated do I really believe that Washington DC is going to care or pay attention to the Virginia Sovereignty. As a matter of fact I do. Maybe we could obtain some tanks and Humvees and roll into DC and deliver the Sovereignty personally! Would they notice???

The Senate Healthcare vote is coming. I am sure that Warner and Webb are in the process of fortifying their offices, the Patriots are Coming. 1 if… Continue

Virginia Declaration of Rights, 12 June 1776

Virginia Declaration of Rights, 12 June 1776

The Virginia Declaration of Rights, unanimously adopted by the Virginia Convention on 12 June 1776, was the first statement of individual rights to be adopted by a state government at the beginning of the American Revolution. It inspired other states to add similar declarations to their state constitutions and eventually became a part of the Constitution of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Drawing in part on the English Bill of Rights of 1689, the Virgi… Continue

We Will Be Victorious!

For many of us we fear that our country is being taken from us. The future seems dark and foreboding. We wonder what happened to our government while we watch it trample on our CONSTITUTION. We have no one to blame but ourselves for allowing this to happen. The "Sleeping Giant" has awakened and it is our time to return our country to what our forefathers had given us. They fought a "Revolution & a Civil War" to give us the "Greatest Country" the world has ever seen. As we march forward to re… Continue

The President Without A Country

This is a blog by Pat Boone. Yes, the 50's singer Pat Boone. I am posting this because it makes so much sense. Knowing how Obama grew up and who is friends were/and are, he is a President without a country.
I have taken the liberty of editing.
